Berry Filled Crêpes with a Yogurt Laced Caramel Sauce
This delicious French treat is a satisfying ending to any meal.
Sweet Crêpe Batter
Yogurt Laced Caramel Sauce
For crÃªpes combine all ingredients in mixing bowl and whisk smooth.
Cover and allow to stand at least 1 hour before cooking crÃªpes over medium heat as thin as possible.
(If you like, try sweet chocolate crÃªpes by adding 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup).
Batter makes 12 crÃªpes.
For the sauce, combine sugar and water in heavy saucepan and stir to dissolve over medium heat.
Allow to caramelize for 15-20 minutes.
Turn off slowly and carefully add heavy cream and whisk smooth.
Whisk in yogurt and salt.
To serve, spread crÃªpes on work surface.
Divide berries down center of each crÃªpe and roll crÃªpes tightly around berries.
Serve each person 2 crÃªpes drizzled generously with sauce.
