These moist and delicious pancakes - topped with strawberry sauce - are sure to start your day with a smile!

Ingredients

Pancakes

1 1/2 c flour
3 T sugar
1 t baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
12 oz Stonyfield Organic Strawberry Banana Fat Free Yogurt
1/2 stick salted butter (melted)
2 eggs
1 c Stonyfield Organic 1% Milk
1 t vanilla
oil or butter (for griddle)

Strawberry Sauce

4 c Strawberries
1/3 c sugar
1 T water
whipped cream (optional)

Preparation:

Step 1

To prepare the sauce, quarter the berries and place them in a saucepan with the sugar and water. Simmer until the sugar has dissolved into a simple syrup and the berries are soft (about 5 minutes). Mash berries with a potato masher, leaving some chunks for texture.

Step 2

Turn electric griddle on 350°, or heat a skillet to medium heat. Place all dry ingredients in the bowl and whisk together. Add the remaining ingredients and whisk.

Step 3

Oil or butter the skillet or griddle and pour ladlefuls of the batter to the size you prefer. When the pancakes are bubbly, flip them and cook another minute.

Step 4

Serve with strawberry sauce and whipped cream for a special breakfast!
